The Women in Golf Awards, held this year at the prestigious Foxhills Club & Resort, was a glittering celebration of the remarkable women who are shaping the future of golf. From grassroots champions to industry powerhouses, the event shone a spotlight on those who are driving innovation, inclusion, and excellence in the sport.

Presented by Katherine Downes from the BBC this year’s ceremony welcomed women from all over the globe, each with an inspiring story. The atmosphere was electric as nominees, supporters, and industry leaders gathered to honor achievements that are transforming the landscape of golf.

The heartfelt message throughout the evening was that. "Golf is more than just a sport It’s a platform to inspire, empower, and break barriers” Innovation and disruption were topics that were shared throughout each the evening as each nominee was mentioned,

Among the nominees were grassroots leaders who are introducing young girls to the game, innovative designers bringing fresh perspectives to golf apparel, and executives steering global brands toward greater inclusivity.

Much recognition went to different initiatives that are creating inclusivity for underprivileged girls, offering them access to coaching, equipment, and mentorship.

The evening also highlighted trailblazing professionals who have excelled on and off the course. From breaking records to breaking norms, these women reminded everyone of the limitless possibilities within the game of golf.

As the awards ceremony concluded, guests left inspired, ready to support and celebrate the dynamic and diverse future of women in golf. The Women in Golf Awards served as a powerful reminder of how far the sport has come—and how much further it can go with women leading the way.

Katie and I attended in our glad rags as FAMARA and as PGA coach and had a lot of fun catching up with friends from across the industry!
